    hey, i have a problem with the sound on my computer, this just started happening today, but every sound on my computer is slowed down, nothing is played normally, does anyone know how to fix this?

    The first question is always...

    Have you changed anything recently?

    It's probably something else running in the background. Take a look at Task Manager and see what your CPU utilization looks like. Also check out anything that seems to be using a lot of memory. Try opening the volume control and clicking on the slider to play the 'ding' sound and watch memory / cpu performance when this happens. Also, look at the processes tab while you're doing this and see if anything jumps up to the top of the list when you play it.
