  1. I've recently upgraded to the "n" version of the software. I followed the directions (removed the old version, copied the new version to the /Applications folder, and started the app). I then downloaded the newer versions of helper apps and "located" each of the 4 applications on my hard drive before using the "Install" option.

I then receive an error which states:

##sh: -c: line 1: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `"
sh: -c: line 2: syntax error: unexpected end of file

    Any suggestions?

My powerbook is running 10.3. I was running the old version (h, I believe) and it installed with no problems. Thanks. --Dan

  2. Remove special characters like ' from disk name or from path to installed components.

  3. Ahhhhhhh, after some deep, deep searching and thinking I finally came across the problem. I had a special character in my password! Maybe there is a better way to accomplish this (and please give future users warning). I probably spent a good hour or two searching files and attempting to figure this out. I changed my password to something simple and it installed fine.
