    I'm trying to make a DVD from an Avi. and i converted a Movie with cannopus procoder and When i went to use Tmpgenc DVD Author it says i need a sequence header. But when i went to play the movie it started halfway through the movie... So can someone help me out with this?

    did you use standard dvd settings in canopus?
    does the converted mpg works fine in your mpeg2/dvd player?

    What is standard DVD settings? I used the cannopus wizard, well it looked perfectly except for the fact that when i played it started halfway through the movie.

    I have the same problem. I convert my movies to vcd format using the vcd from the wizard like I do it with tmpg encoder and convert and then author it with dvd author. But files converted by procoder comr up with this above message? At the moment I am running the resultant mpeg's through mpeg tools from tmpg encoder and it seems to work, but something is missing here
