  1. I'm trying to convert a mov file into and mpg, I already did that but the mov file was widescreen so when I converted it to vcd it was all squished so how would I convert it to widescreen with tmpgnc?

    Hello,
    I think you have two options: 16:9 or keep aspect ratio. I've used keep aspect ratio without problems. Give it a try.

    Glad to help. It's a good idea to keep testing all the options. Also, using short video clips will save encoding time if your not sure (especially on a slow computer). Have a nice day.
