Canopus Procoder Express trial..... Where?

Spoke too soon. You have to be a "registered user" and the demo software is there. Looks like just plain procoder though, no express....

What I like about Canopus Procoder Express is ...

I use it to convert Divx - Xvid videos ... especially those Xvid videos with the variable audio bitrates. Virtualdub doesn't like those.

Plus .... Canopus Procoder Express ... will convert them to a DVD compliant Mpg-2 file with success and include the top and bottom black bars for DVD authoring.

I recently found BattleStar Galactica the Mini Series .... converted from DVD format. Amazon hasn't started selling the DVD version yet. But it is out there ... minus the commercials and minus the Sci-Fi logo ... and super clear.

I found them with Edonkey ... here are the file names. In case someone is interested.

I'm using Canopus Procoder Express to convert the Xvid conversion back to a DVD compliant Mpg-2 video file. And then I will use TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.5 ... to make a DVD with it.

I've already done Part 1 ... took 9 hours to convert a 700 meg avi to Mpg file ... size ... 4.27 GB .... and it plays great with correct resolution.

Yeah it is questionable ... it was broadcast on the sci-fi channel ... With commercials. ... back in December 2003.

I tried to find the DVD version but Amazon hasn't decided to sell it or not and I've registered with them to send me a email if and when it becomes available.

I already have the mini-series recorded with my Panasonic DVD Recorder and on Hi-Fi VCR tape.

I will gladly buy the DVDs when they become available. But I couldn't wait and I found them and downloaded them.

Sci-Fi Channel is advertising ... it will become a series in January 2005

Getting Laid ??? ... I've been getting laid ... at around 4:50 PM for the last two days ... Friday and Saturday.
