  1. I have a sharp digital camera and i used it to record a video and i want to burn it into vcd.
so i bought a package from pinnacle systems...
there's a PCI capture card, VHS & S-VHS outputs, VCD encoder, Studio demo cd and nero in the package...
i used the software provided which is CinePlayer DVR to record the video onto my computer and that's where the problems starts...
the sound doesn't coordinate with the picture!
the sound is always slower than the picture...
    can someone please help me?!

ok, ill give you a few pointers.. Virtualdub. I got a pinnacle PCTV (PCI) and i had that prob with std software. i use a RCA cable with a RCA -> stereo jack converter. I then plug the jack (looks like a headphone jack) into the line in on my SBlive! card and do it that way, works a treat. i also cap in 352x576, which does look a little long, but after filtering and 2:1 vert reduction, its final res is 352x288 which is for VCD.. and the reduction makes it a little sharper/clearer.. i had a tut posted, but changed ISP's so i lost it. Will repost when i cbf'd..

If you have any more problems with this, email me and i will instrust you personally or i can email you my tut (html with HEAPS of pics/screen shots with my digital cam) so it will help you with ANY prob that you get.. just look up my user profile if you need... hope this helps a little.
    Damn TLA's, they confuse everyone.
