  1. Hi, I was watching ShopNBC last night and bought the computer they were advertising.

I don't know much about graphics cards, but I have a question. The site I purchased from says only this about the graphics card: Integrated S/S Real256E Graphics with up to 128MB Shared video (http://www.shopnbc.com/product/?familyid=V30803&track=-65102)

I've searched for the graphics card on the net to see if it does TV out but I haven't found anything. I was wondering, if I were to get one of these
would it work if TV out isn't supported. I'm not sure how it works. If you normally hook up a monitor with the VGA cord to the monitor, would it work if you did VGA to TV?

Thanks. I hope that makes sense.

Sounds like the graphics card with that pc you bought is built into the motherboard. Usually shared video is not a good thing. Getting a separate AGP video card is better. sorry didn't mean to burst your bubble. If that pc has a AGP SLOT on the motherboard then you can always purchase one on your own. Some video cards do have a TV OUT. Like some RADEON VIDEO CARDS.

Looks to be onboard video. Probably better off getting an AGP graphics card with an S-Video out jack. Using your TV for a monitor usually sucks by the way.

Oh damn. You replied the same time I did. Oh well. I'll leave mine anyways, all in the name of unabashed post whoring.
