I'm new to video, finally got a DVD-ROM drive player that would play movies, first one I bought wouldn't.

During my troubleshooting of my DVD-ROM drive with movies I tried Nero ShowTime as a DVD player. Unfortunately I started spending more time trying to figure out how ShowTime worked than my drive problem so I quit trying to use it. A few issues popped up that didn't make sense and I was hoping somebody with some experience with ShowTime could point me in the right direction:

    (1) When I go to play a DVD movie I get a message about requiring a "DVD Video" plugin. I thought I read that the Ultra version already has this plugin. Could someone tell me the name of plugin file and what directory it's supposed to be in?

    (2) When I try to point ShowTime to a virtual drive with a movie image mounted, ShowTime tells me it can't play from this location.

    (3) I often get an error message "Internal error. Cannot build graph". A quick reinstall NeroExpress 2 solves the problem but why is this error continually reoccuring

Thanks in advance for your help.

Better to just let Nero handle burning exclusively. Just use the stripped down barebones no-frills burning app and forget about having it edit, encode, author, mow the lawn, cook dinner and whatever the hell else the latest wonder build will do for you. Check out some of these.....
