Steven Segal. What's he pushin' now? ...about 260 lbs. or so? That's pounds, as in measure of weight for those on different systems. What's that in stones? A pretty big boulder is what it is!

  5. Segal...yeah, time to quit. He only had one decent movie...(Above the Law).

Will Smith? He's ok. I liked (I Robot).

  10. Why was Jean Claude left out of that list? Maybe because nobody remembers him...ouch!
Look, let me explain something. I'm not Mr. Lebowski; you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. That, or Duder. His Dudeness. Or El Duderino, if, you know, you're not into the whole brevity thing--

I agree - maybe the question should be reversed 8) :P

Other than Will Smith, they are all way past their prime and/or too out of shape to be taken seriously as a tough guy...and Will Smith doesn't come to mind when I hear tough guy either.

The other over the hill gang includes:

Clint Eastwood ( Go ahead, punk...make my day <swinging around his cane as he searches for his false teeth> Eh...what's that you say, punk <searching for his hearing aid> Bad Guy says, I'd shoot ya, gramps, but it looks like you've been dead for the last ten years already)

    Chuck Norris

    Burt Reynolds

    Sean Connery

    Nick Nolte

    Robert De Niro

    Al Pacino

    Tommy Lee Jones

    James Caan

Jack Nicholson too (even though he's not usually type cast in those roles)

  13. Age doesnt matter, Clint and Co can still do well. I seen Space Cowboys four times, never bothered to watch any Will Smith movie more than once. Lucky for movie makers that people got different taste, some probably still like Seagal and maybe even Burt Reynolds.

Really what movie executive says: "We're going to make the summer blockbuster thats never been done before. We have Steven Segal fight terrorists!"

The Q is rather: What "Action Hero" shouldn't give up? On a whole, they pretty much suck each and every one.

I think it's really funny how TGPO creates a poll and then includes himself in another one of those unfunny, lame-ass references as the last choice on poll.

Here's a great idea for a new poll:

Favorite lame-ass TGPO reference made on a viewer's poll.

I say The Rock. He just doesn't do it for me. He is very good on a WWE mic but his action star status doesn't sit well with me. He is a very good dramatic actor, he should try that

  26. I would have to say the Bruce Willis can still be a good tough guy (...Zed's dead, baby...) Although he loses credability every time he make a movie with that dork from Friends.

Also, I think The Rock is really one of the only guys now who has a ligitimate chance of being the next "Tough Guy".

Last note, Nicholas Cage, never was a tough guy, never will be.

The guy married Lisa Marie Presley just because he's an Elvis fan. That's not tough. That's moronic.
