How to capture from miniDV in AVID Xpress 3.0

Hello people, I started to use AVID and its really different interface than Premiere which I am using. I am pressing f4 button to capture but there is nothing, just a message "select a track..." or something.

I am using CANOPUS ACEDVio editing board.

I tryed to import some footage captured before with Premiere and AVID said "format not supported"

Where is a mistake.

it is all in the manual ... capture from firewire or mojo


also -- avid xpress doesnt import that many formats at all..

Just two questions:

1. What is Mojo?

2. My Canopus also have analog inputs- can I capture using analog input in Avid?
