I can't seem to find an actual answer to this.
once in a while one of my dvds gives me an error while ripping with dvd decryptor.
I/O error
bla bla bla
Interpretation:no seek complete
now, i've found plenty of references to this in the forum but none of the posts actually say what no seek complete is.
my discs are clean and usually new.
this only happens maybe 1 in 30 discs.

Means it cant read the dvd properly, might need to clean it.
I think,therefore i am a hamster. -
i had a feeling it was in that area but i guess i was looking for a more technical reason.
maybe i should ask what happens in the disc and drive interaction to cause a no seek complete error message.
i doubt its the disc, i just got it today. its brand new, never even watched, went straight from the box to the drive.
