    Hi,

I have a file on my hard drive which is just over 1 gb in size. When I click properties it tells me it is an mpeg file, and it plays fine. I want to put this onto a DVD disc to play on my dvd player. I am happy on burning etc...but I cant see anything on the conversion guides for MPEG to DVD. Am I looking for the right thing..??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards
    Mac
    Thanks.....Mac

The mpeg needs to be 'authored' to a dvd compatible disk before it can be played in your set-top dvd player. Check out the various guides available on this site.

That is of course assuming it is a DVD compliant mpeg in the 1st place!

I suggest you use bitrate viewer to find the properties of your mpeg.
