    Does anyone know why CCE crashes when I load up an avs file (avisynth)?

    I can open the file in Vdub no problem, Windows media player comes up with an error, but the file will still play. CCE comes up with the same error as windows media player, but doesn't load it up.

    I'm using:
    Avisynth 2.5
    CCE SP 2.5 demo

    The script file I am using is as follows:

    AVISource("1.avi", False)
    LanczosResize(720,480)
    ConvertToYUY2()

    The avi file I am using is just a video stream ( no audio ).

    Any help is appreciated.

    Don't you need the put the "addaudio.avsi" into the plugin directory before you open Audio-less AVI's in AviSynth?
