  1. I made a DVD using (s)vcd2dvd & it has about 50 mpeg clips on it the problem is when I play it in my player either APEX or PS2 it plays but on certain clips it "hangs" when going from one clip to another & at other times it freezes al together until I skip ahead to the next clip, I however can skip back & the clip that was "hanging" will then play smoothly...I don't know if it's (s)vcd2dvd that is causing the problem during the authoring or if it's happening during the burn process or if it's my cheap media.
I used copy2dvd & nero to burn with the same results...I do notice a small hang when I do mpeg movies that have more than one part also....should I add a VTS folder for each clip which would be a lot of work or is it something else....the media I use is verbatim DVD+/- & a generic brand that works ok with the movies but all media I have tried give me this problem when I do the multi clips....any help would be greatly apreciated...thanks

  2. I have had the same problem in certain cases but that is from the audio distortions of certain mpegs during conversion to ntsc from pal. the video will hang on the same frame till end of the mpeg file it is converting. and as for yourself how many mpeg files are you trying to put ona dvd? i am only able to put 6 mpegs at ruffly around 750 megabits each which will convert to approx. 4.6 gigs after i use the svcd2dvd program. also what kind of clips are you trying to put on the dvd? all mpeg 2 or mpeg1?

  3. they are music videos some are .mpg others are .m2v (svcd) & I have noticed upon making many attempts at doing this that when I change the order in which the videos will be on the dvd sometimes that helps but it's all a crapshoot because when I make one disc it may hang in certain areas while others will hang in certain other areas using the same mpegs...& yea when I do music videos I can get between 50 & 70 videos on on dvd, but this "hanging" problem causes me to sometimes have to skip ahead one video then skip back to the hanging video for that video to then play properly...also I experience the same sort of problem with movies if the source was a multi disc vcd or svcd when it gets to the point of going from cd 1 to cd2 which were both merged together on the dvd, there is a momentary "hang" in the video & audio then it will continue to play...I wonder if v2 of svcd2dvd will address these multi file problems.
