    Dear guys,

I trying to copy a dvd with my logo. I use the SamartRipper, DVD2AVI, VirtualDub, TMPGEnc, and The TMPGEnc DVD Author. The original dvd disc that has two Titles. One with "Dolby Digital (AC-3), 48000 Hz, 2 ch", and the other with "Dolby Digital (AC-3), 48000 Hz, 6 ch" quality. But the problem is what I get, after using all the programs above. I get a "Liner PCM, 48000 Hz, 2 ch" audio track quality. What could I do to get the same audio quality, please?

  2. You should set DVD2AVI to demux the audio, not decode (menu Audio-> Dolby Digital -> Demux all tracks). Then you use the demuxed 6ch ac3 file in TDA when authoring the DVD.

    Ok, I could get a "Dolby Digital (AC-3), 48000 Hz, 2 ch", but how could I get a "Dolby Digital (AC-3), 48000 Hz, 6 ch" ?

  4. When you ripped the DVD, did you rip the 6ch AC3 stream as well or just the 2ch stream? If you ripped both then DVD2AVI should demux both of them and they should both be in the same folder.

Well, I guess my SmartRipper just ripped the 6 channel one. But, see what I got when I deceided to use the decode (menu Audio-> Dolby Digital -> Demux all tracks) option:

    - Britney AC3 T01 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3 126.384 Kb

    - Britney AC3 T02 3_2ch 384Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3 252.768 Kb

It let me got two files.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While when I used the first option, or the right way to do/handle with the dvd2avi, I got only the:

    - Britney AC3 T01 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3 126.384 Kb

    Sinc.,
