  1. I Upgraded my m/b audio sound with a New Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS soundcard today. Afterwards, all my PowerDVD video playbacks & audio files all seem to work fine. But now, I just found out that when I open my "WinDVR 3" that I use for tv captures in my ALL-IN-WONDER 9600 SERIES card I hear that I can NOT get any audio using my
    WinDVR 3
I've tried & looked all over for a cause but I just can't seem to find the fault. SO, does anyone have any ideas as to maybe just where I could look to try some other ideas on this bad?

    Thank you.

Is your audio "out" from the All-in-wonder going to the new sound card?

Did you disable the onboard audio (sometimes done through your BIOS; sometime with a jumper on the MOBO; sometimes both (as was my case...)?

Did you check your windows "recording" options, to make sure that "line in" or "aux" is still selected (depending on how you have that All-in-wonder attached...) and not "muted"?

  3. Yeah, I have the "blk line in" form the AIW going into "line in 1' on the s/c. I also killed the onboard audio in BIOS, & i've set all the windows & audio ware records & playback opts. correct also.

the only one thing I didn't do was to make any the "analog or digital cable connects" off the s/c .... cause from what I gathered guide was that this model I didn't need to.. it's what im thinking anyway.

I have absolutely no experience with this sound card, but maybe check the part in bold below:

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro External I/O Hub Front/Rear Panel Connectors
    Headphone Out (1/4" Stereo Jack)
Line In 1 (1/4" Stereo Jack , shared with Microphone In with Gain Control)
Line In 2 (1/4" Stereo Jack)
Line In 3 (2x RCA Jack)
    Optical SPDIF In/Out
    Coaxial SPDIF In/Out
Digital Out for 5.1 support (6-channel SPDIF Output to Creative digital speakers)
    2x FireWireŽ (IEEEŽ1394) ports
    MIDI In / Out
    Infra-red Receiver
    AD_LINK 1 and AD_LINK 2 connectors
maybe try the Line In 2???? or check the recording level of the "microphone"...?????

I didn't see this mentioned specifically in any of the previous posts for your original line configuration and since it's working would just be for future reference.

Have you enabled and selected the line in the Audigy sound coinfiguration?

  9. Yeah I had the "line in" enabled in the Audigy sound coinfiguration before tring the"line 2"connect. And like I said, I had sound in all "others" from the start, just not in the WinDVR 3 ware. I only got my sound in WinDVR when I swapped over to the "line 2" connect.
