did burn with tdk's now i am burning with prodisk white hubs. My burner can only burn at 2x but it feels ike 1x. I was burning at 30 mins but now it is an hour. Could it be my firmware? I checked my firmwareout and I can only find a update to make is regien free. My dvd burner is Toshiba SD-R5002

it says the prodisc can only write 1x with my burner. Is there a way to change that so i can wrote to 2x like a filmware?

There is not much else you can do if there are no newer firmware updates for your drive.
You *could* attempt to hack the firmware and increase the speed to 2X for this media.
This would require a knowledge of the firmware code structure and a hex editor.
However, It could very well do you no good and result in unreadable discs...
If you want to burn at 2X you should probably just get rid of the prodiscs, and acquire media that you are sure are supported at 2X with your current firmware.WesleyTech.com - Blu-ray Disc & consumer technology news, reviews & articles
