  1. I'm totally lost. I just converted a Xvid into DVD quality with CCE. When I wanted to author it, I got the error that it's 23.976 and that it has to be atleast 25.00 . So I wanted to convert it to PAL 25.00, but somehow I got NTSC 29.97. Well, okay my DVD supports NTSC so the only thing I had to do is convert the audio also into 29.97. BUT this is much harder than converting the video.

I read a guide here how to do it, but somehow BeSweet does not work. If I use the wizard I only get a empty log, and if I use GUI I get some kind of "can't find file" error, and if I mark besweet.exe I get
    "valid".
To keep things short, BeSweet does not work.

Is there ANY free program where I can convert audio 23.976 wav. into 29.97 mp2 or even better ac3 ?
I heard something about Azid, but I can't download it anywhere.

I'm somewhat lost with what you had and what you converted to.

The secret is to encode to whatever the source file was. If the source was NTSC 23.976fps, then you need to enable the 3:2 pulldown on playback flag.
    If in doubt, Google it.

So do you want to convert it to PAL? There is a way to convert an AC3 NTSC Divx file to PAL (using AVISynth) without touching the audio...

Did you just download the besweet gui only? If so you also need to download the command line program besweet as well to make it work. the gui just makes working with the command line program easier.

I know, and I have it ofcourse.

Okay, to make it real short.

I have a video converted from 23.976 (because I got an error) to 29.97.
Now I want to convert the audio ALSO to 29.97, but BeSweet doesn't work.

OK. The original 23.976 XVID file will work fine, provided you set the 3:2 pulldown on playback flag in your encoder.
    If in doubt, Google it.

You dont need to convert the audio to 29.97,it will play at the right speed, all you need to do is add pulldown to your video when its 23.976.If you converted again to 29.97 then its better to use the 23.976 file with pulldown.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

Okay thanks, I thought I had to re-encode the audio again, but that isn't necessarily. Thank you all.
