  1. Hi Everyone,
Strange problem I had yesterday, bought a dvd of The Birds....you know Afred Hitchcock version, ripped with DVD Decrypter and all goes well.

Reboot my pc like I always do and start Shrink, it is a long movie so at 61% shrink I set all the components to give me best picture, about two thirds through the analyzing I looked around to see my Pc at the startup screen with serious error has occured.

Any thoughts on this would be great

    Hobmob,

What Event ID is in the System Log when the PC rebooted? That would be very helpful. Also, what SP level for XP, and what version of DVD Shrink?

Could be cpu overheating - leave side panel off, if it stops the error, invest in some new fans for case & cpu.
