i am having a problem with a movie i have, the quality of the movie is very poor and i would like to know if its anyway posssible i can repair it and put it on another dvd disc with a better quality and better sound. if so please let me know. thank you..

No. Garbage in, garbage out and all that. Using some filters might improve matters marginally, but then you'd have to reencode which as such lowers the quality even more...

leads me to believe that the low Q origial is already on DVD, wheras the video restore guide seems to be mostly about restoring video on tape. Not much to do then than filter and reencode...put it on another dvd disc
