The new version has a 1:1 option for D/L burning, this means it will transcode direct from the DVD without the need to first rip the disk to your HD. This feature works on normal transcode as well. An excellent program just got better.

The end movie quality has never been real good so I stopped using it, I just tried the latest version and still the quality is not up to par...

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it. -
I love how there's always a few people on here who use some esoteric program and pimp it.
Like some guy was using a program called "Mac The Ripper", and talked about it like we would know what it was.
Why on God's Green Earth would we use "Mac The Ripper" when DVD Decrypter is free?

*Edit - Ooops! Took too long to type out my post. Oh well, it is for Macs. -
Ok, my bad. Didn't realize the person was on the Mac...
Erm, wait a minute. The person using Mac The Ripper was also using DVD Shrink and Nero Recode... I wasn't aware that either of those was available for the Mac? Or am I misremembering his/her post?

Wulf,
I'm not picking on you, please don't think that I am. I too sometimes use underrated programs. A good example is that this past week I actually LICENSED a program called Spy Sweeper. It's a spyware remover, and is the ONLY one that will correctly remove all the known variants of the CWS (CoolWebSearch) Trojan. Spybot misses them, HiJack This sees them but can't clean them, CWShredder has been discontinued, Ad-Aware doesn't see them either... but Spy Sweeper saw them, killed them, and had a cool interface to boot.
So I bought it, despite the fact that it's a "distant 3rd" sort of program, because at least for the time being, they've made a big jump forward in detection and removal of spyware.
So I understand the point. It wasn't picking on you that I was doing, but picking, in general, on the legions of people who SEEM to have read the guides, SEEM to be familiar with concepts in here, but come in and go "I love using {insert crappy unknown program made in Slambovia here} and I bought it and it was only $150!".
