ok i understand the concept of vcd, i dl them and burn them
i found discs that work and a burning speed

ok now i run a 1.5 gig p4
its brand new

what programs are good for xp
i want to borrow rent movies and turn them to vcds
how long will it take on my machine
and what programs do u recommend
for xp
prefeably easy ones

Well first of all i hafto say it's illegal to rent and copy movies ...

But anyways...

DVDDecrypter 3.0 / SmartRipper 2.39 ( For Copy/Decrypt the .vob files to your harddrive )
DVD2AVI 1.74 ( To Convert the audio from AC3 to WAV and create a frameserving .avi file )
TMPGEnc 2.01 ( To open your .d2v file from DVD2AVI and the WAV and encode to VCD/MPEG )
