In the past, I have converted .VOB to .AVI files using DVD2AVI since I usually re-encode the resulting .WAV file.

However, is there a way to convert a .VOB to .AVI without separating the audio? I think AutoGK is one possible way of doing this, but I would like verification.

    Thanks!

I'm guessing you must have the Decode To WAV option checked ? I thought you could just go FILE > Save AVI, choose your codec and be on your way ?

VirtualDub-MPEG2 can open VOB files and output to AVI also.
    If in doubt, Google it.
