  1. I've used decryptor many many times now, and this is the first time i've ran into a problem such as this one.

When decyrpting, I use the mode 'file'. After the entire movie, plus extras etc.. are all backed up i'm left with one huge main movie file (VTS_01_1). Although in decryptor, it illustrates 6 vob files, VTS_01_1, VTS_01_2, etc... It's as if they are 'merged' together, rather than seperated into their own individual file as 'normal'.

    Why is this happening?

When I try to the video_ts folder into DVDshrink, i'm left with the error 'system cannot find the specified file- Video_TS.vob'.
But I did rip EVERYTHING to my HD.

I'm lost, why is this happening?

    ANY suggestions?

    Try looking in :

    Tools/Settings/File Mode/

And see if the 'File Splitting' option is set to 'By File'

This is the default setting, and should rip the files exactly as they are on the DVD

It may be set to 'None', in which case this would lead to the one big VOB file instead of the same file structure as the source DVD

  3. Maybe this will solve the problem. Under Tools menu, select Settings, and File Mode tab. At right upper corner is shows "File Splitting". Choose "By File".

I also use the File mode and never had this kind of problem as you described.

  5. Yup, I think you guys solved the problem.

File splitting- by file.. that's what I needed. I remember switching this setting last name, but forgot about. I had it set to 'auto'. It's time to try it again!
