    My Xvid codec worked fine until a while ago, what happens now is when I try to play an xvid file the file would load but not play, the screen stays black and the timer doesn't move. After a while the player would crash saying the error was caused by xvid.dll Help please

    yeah but that didn't work either, anyways I solved the prob. I just installed a codec pack.
