I am working with avi files of Television programs which I am trying to convert to DVD (4 episodes to a dvd, with menu). I have used WinAVI to convert with some success and ULead DVD Workshop for menu building and DVD encoding. My biggest problem is a recurring issue with the audio track going out of sync (1 to 2 second delays) with the video. I would also like to know if there are mpeg2 setting that I could make when converting the avi files so that the dvd encoding process doesn't have to do so much reencoding. The audio sync problem seems to be occuring during the dvd encoding process as the mpeg2 file that I get out of WinAVI plays fine on the PC before DVD encoding. Thanks for any help.

try author with tmpgenc dvd author instead...it sounds that workshop reencodes the files(it shouldn't).
