    im in need of some help here guys..

    i got a an .avi file that i would like to put on to dvd but everytime i go to convert it into dvd format no matter what prog i use it always seems to crash... any help plz

    Probably a slightly corrupted or non-standard avi. This can happen even if the avi plays ok when viewed with windows media player. Try loading it up in Virtualdub, choosing direct stream copy and saving it back, not going over the original of course. This usually works for me.
