  1. Hi there,

A rip went terribly wrong, and I need to save the movie at least.

I have all the files from VTS 1 and VTS 2... the rest are blank. VTS 1 is the movie, VTS 2 must be some trailer. I suspect the rest (VTS 3, 4,5) are just other trailers at the end plus whatever logo the mastering company put out for themselves.

So now, how do I extract just the movie, without bothering about menus and everything else?

I have IFOEdit, but I have no idea how to use it... Or what other program?

    What happened to the original?
    Hello.

  3. The original is no longer available, (of course... Murphy's law... it always happens)

  4. I use dvd2one, it creates a whole new set of files.

  5. I must be doing something wrong - or i don't know how to use it, but I can't figure out how to get DVD2one to work...

  6. There are quite a few ways to make a movie only DVD if you have the VTS of the main movie.

I think the easiest is to move all VTS_01* files to a new directory and then use DVD-Fab (the old freeware will do) to create the Video Manager (the VIDEO_TS.IFO/BUP) files. Now DVD Shrink will be able to read the structure and you can make a movie only DVD (in reauthor mode).
