  1. I'm trying to burn a 650 MB MPG file and a 3.6 GB MPG file to a DVD with ULead DVD Workshop. After creating a basic menu and going through the rest of the authoring process, I go into the burning process. The program says the available space on the DVD is 4.4 GB. However, even though those two files add up to only 3.750 GB, the program say I need 4.6 GB of space on the DVD. Yet I only have 4.4 GB available on the DVD. Why is the required space so much larger than the actual total (3.750 GB)? Surely the menu can't add that much to the files.

    Last time I checked, 3.6GB + 650MB = 4.25GB.

Add in the menu and it's quite possible you go over the 4.377GB threshold.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. Duh. I did figure that wrong, didn't I? I still didn't realize that the menu took up that much room. Thanks for the help.
