Drive is in use by another application..

Hello , i have Pioneer a107 , in an external case, ive been using it succesfully on my laptop both on firewire and usb2.
I m trying to use it on my friends,windows recognize it imidiately at firewire and nero as well but when i clcik on burn i get the message that the drive is in use by another application..I restarted but still the same..
what can be wrong?

What software are you using? Sometimes I've had problems with Nero InCD causing this error....

Use msconfig to stop any programs from running that shouldn't be. Here's a link to a list of what any programs you may find do:

Run a virus scan, and load a spyware removal program to clean up the machine. PestPatrol, Adaware, or Spybot: Search and Destroy will each get rid of most problems. Load all three to get rid of most everything.
