    i get this message from media player anytime i try to play an mpeg2 file,any ideas how to fix?i appear to have every codec under the sun installed!

    Looks like an mpeg2 decoder problem. Install Powerdvd to restore mpeg2 playback, or if you haven't got it download the trial and install that.
