  1. hi all,

i recently captured an interview off satellite, i have an ati aiw 9600pro and using the huffy codec

when i capture in avi then encode to mpeg2 using tmpg (i deinterlace) i don't intend to throw it on dvd, i still get some interlaced lines, and when you skip the file to jump to a certain point there is like an interlaced shadow in the final mpeg file ...

i do not know what is going on as it never happened before, everything has been uninstalled and reinstalled, is it a driver issue, codec issue, tmpg issue...

    aaaah so much confusion

    Ne helpers plzzzzzzzzz help

    1. deinterlacing is impossible (mostly)
    2. read 100fps.com
    3. don't de-interlace and play it with windvd or powerdvd

  3. thx for the reply,

i understand what you mean, all i want to figure out is why are these problems occuring all of a sudden, the light shadow, and deinterlace with light interlaced lines occassionaly ...because it worked 100% perfectly before, now there seems to be a prob
