I ripped The Matrix Reloaded DVD. Everything seemed to go smoothly during the ripping process, but the resulting M2V file was all garbled. What could've caused this? Maybe I did something wrong. You be the judge. Here are a few screenshots of my DVD Decrypter 3.2.3.0 configuration:

DVD Decrypter - RCE Protection Found!

    Settings - IFO Mode

    Settings - CSS

Other details about my configuration include:
    Remove Macrovision Protection checked.
File Splitting for IFO Mode set to None.
Interface set to ASPI (using Nero ASPI Library 2.0.1.59).

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

what tool did you use the check the m2v with? just played it with media player or a mpeg2 player?

you can try another ripper like smartripper, it can also demultiplex to m2v streams.

  3. The first thing that comes to mind is that you ripped the entire m2v file, and what you wanted was to only rip one angle of the movie to a m2v file. The martix (and several other DVDs) have multiple angles. If you just plain rip the VOB files you'll get all the angles mixed together.

Instead choose to only rip 'angle 1' (which is normally the main/original verison of the movie).

I check it with both WMP and VirtualDub. Same thing. And I used Stream Processing to rip it to demuxed M2V and AC3 files, not to a VOB file. I'm not sure how to select a particular angle in a multi-angle disc. Would you care to explain?
    Again, thanks for your help.

try using a older version of DVD DECRYPTER. I had a similiar problem in ripping a movie. I got a error msg so I reverted to a older version and it ripped fine.

I don't get an error message, just a warning about the DVD having RCE protection.
I found a way to successfully rip the VOB files from 2 to 7, but VTS_01_1 still gives me the same problem. Here's a screenshot:

I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem.... I'd like to know of someone who has ripped and converted The Matrix Reloaded to DivX and what steps he or she used.

why not try using a old version anyway? as i see it what do you have to lose by using a old version of DVD DECRYPTER.
