    Hi, Guys!

I am getting a split in 4 video screen after import a DVD movie to my PC
(I am using the default settings of the .vob file – 720X480 px. NTCS 29.9 fps)\
After I import it as .AVI to my PC Hard Drive, when try to play back the .AVI file, the picture appears weirdly split in 4.
And this is before any editing is done.

    Any idea?

  2. I am sorry, but I don't think anybody understands what you are talking about.

Are you saying that you rip the movie (with DVDecrypter or Smartripper, etc.)? DVDs do not have .AVI files on them by nature unless this is a data disc that you got from a friend or something.

What programs are you using? Also, try to explain what you mean by split in 4 a little clearer.

    OK,
Copy the .VOB file from a DVD to my hard drive.
Then I chose “import video” to Ulead video studio or FlaskDVD program
You can chose to import the vob file either as AVI or MPG.
Avter the import as AVI I try to play the new saved AVI file in my win DVD or media player – the picture appears split on 4 tiles on the screen, just like if you set your computer monitor background image to “tile”.

OK, I fixed the problem by using MPG target file instead of AVI.
    Saves me spase too.
