Can someone tell me why my drive is showing this?
I updated to the latest firmware and still had no luck.

I would imagine the DVR-104 is similar to the DVR-105 in that respect -- Buffer Underrun protection is for burning CD-R/RW, not for DVD-R/RW's.

lagvoid, try running DVDinfopro and see if the buffer underrun box is checked. Also, try loading the same f/w v1.40 that TommyKnocker is using. I would also try a reinstallation of Nero.

I was using Nero 6. Reinstalled it and it's showing up as being supported. I don't remember if it was working before the firmware or not? Should have done this earlier. thanks for the tips
