Okay... I have an 867 MHz Quicksilver G4 with Superdrive.
I want to back up a DVD of Toy Story 2 for my kids. The DVD seems authentic, but I bought it on eBay, so it could be a pirated copy... I don't know. It came from Malaysia. I don't know if that makes a difference.
When I put the DVD in my drive it sits for a while, doing nothing, and then it ejects the DVD! I doubt that it is a region code issue, because I have played it in several DVD players just fine.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You give a man a fish, that man knows where to go for fish. You teach a man to fish, you've just destroyed your market base.

could be the region code, but usually the mac will prompt you saying change your code??
it could also be that it is a fake, and its put on some +r type of meda that your drive cant read. I have toy story 2 and it works fine in my drive.
Malaysia?? what was the shipping for that movie?
