  1. Can anyone explain, why all of a sudden, all my MPEG files now read File Type Nero Show Time File? These are not just fies that I did in last couple of days, these are files that I have had on my computer for months and previously read mpg or mpeg.

    Thanks

You can right click on the file, select 'open with' and 'choose program', pick the program you want to open it with then check the 'alway use the selected program' option.

  3. Thank you, that sure was easy, and don't I feel like a dumb bell for not knowing that. I wonder how I managed to change them in the first place. I also wonder if the file names could have been causing me another problem of burning several onto a DVD RW or DVD R disk to play on my DVD Player, in that the player was only recognising one movie, even though media player found all of them. Excuse me for rambling, but you were so helpful and I thought that by adding that info, you might be able to say whether it could have been the problem. Again, thank you so very much. These forums are the best places to get help and support.

That normally happens right after you install an upgrade of NeroVision Express.
    If in doubt, Google it.

When you updated/installed nerovision express it didn't change the file type, it just changed the program that those files are associated with. so that file association wouldn't be the cause of burning problems.
