CD Burning Problem; New Discs, wont work

I just got some Ritek discs , CD-R, from shop4tech.com this afternoon

I haven't had success with any of the CD's I have tried to copy.

When I used my laptops internal cdr drive it stopped at track 7 and when I tried to burn with my DVD burner, it tells me there is an "incorrect parameter"

Any suggestions?

I'm just doing a "guess" work here, but you might have recieved a defective batch of media, I would recommand going back to where you bought them and have it replaced.
