Recently I've notice a jumping logo and some text scrolling on the bottom of the screen while playing back an Mpeg2 file... it says that my player has expired...?
My question is, will this jumping logo thingy and scrolling text be transfered over to CD if I burn the movie onto SVCD format? Will I see that jumping logo when I'm playing it back on my DVD player?

if you have encoded the mpeg2 it might appear. try play with another player like media player classic or videolan. they both supports mpeg2.
