  1. how do you do this?
do you need quicktime pro? if yes where can I get this program? does it cost money? is there an evaluation version?

I tried doing it with premiere but you can't export with the right frame rate.

  2. QuickTime Pro can Export QT files into AVI, and you can also use TMPGEnc, it might even be faster and will defenetly give you more controls over how the file will come out, of course you'd be encoding direct to MPG and not AVI.
