I am trying to join two divx files to then convert it to DVD. I have managed this in the past using Virtual Dub and then DVD2SVCD which does what I want just fine. I know that the 2 Divx files I have are the correct halves of a full film but when I try to append them in virtual dub I get an error message telling me that "the audio streams have different samplng rates (24718.00000 v 24233.0000)" and it won't join them. I didnt create the source Divx so can't change any of those settings.
Is there a way round this or a better tool to join them. I have tried using video only with the intention to strip the audio out and join later but still cant manage it.![]()

Use vdub (or vdubmod) to save the audio as a .WAV file. Then reencdoe the audio with something like Headac3he or BeSweet (which will allow you to resample it to a common sample rate.)
Then mux the new audio with the video in Vdub (strip the old audio from the video first) and then convert to DVD.
