  1. Hi, I have been having a lot of trouble finding a good Mpeg splitter to cut out the intro, and credits of mpeg files. I have tried the following programs:

    1. Easy video Splitter - Seems to suck, very inaccurate screws up the quality of mpeg

    2. AVI MPEG ASF WMV Splitter - The current one I use. My main problem with this one is that it is so inaccurate. I usually have to split 10 - 25 seconds before or after where I want to split, so that it splits it where I want it to. Overall it usually takes 2 - 4 attempts to get this program to split the mpeg where I want it to split. As you can see that is a huge waste of time.

Does anyone know of a really good splitter program that is accurate, and is not one of the above. Thanks is advance.

I agree, Womble MPeg-Vcr is the best mpeg editor you can buy, though before splashing your cash, there are some freeware alternatives you could try that have had some good reviews.

    Cuttermaran
    Mpeg2Schnitt

Additional freeware tools that may be needed:

    ImagoMpeg-Muxer
jrdmux - bbTools optimized for speed
