Good morning my fellow post whores

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who voted in the recent elections. The voter turnout was lower than expected, but we taketh what we can geteth.

I would also like to congratulate Treebeard (Secretary), Will Hay (Treasurer), and the eventual winner of the VP election. We'll make a great team

Here is what I will be attempting to achieve as your new Class President:

I will be encouraging Baldrick to actually pay our moderators here. I think $20/hour is fair. I will also be seeking to get the forum donation money divvied up among the post whores - the more posts, the bigger the slice of the pie

I will be striving to keep the moral barometer in the OT section lower than ever. We have worked very hard to earn our "TTIFU" comments. We should be free to continue to explore the more ...shall we say ...unconventional avenues of discussion.

I will be establishing a NOOB training board (a bit like training pants) where the intensive cirricula will cover reading the manuals, searching the forum for pertinent posts, learning to equate post count with intelligence, and never ...ever ...using the phrases "Thanks in Advance" or "OK ...so I have a new ...how do I ....". Newbies must accumulate 100 posts and be graded before graduating to the regular forum.

Any mention of the virtues of N**ED G**K, his media or his business will result in an immediate ban. We must discourage his cowardly practice of using alternate user names to hawk his crap here.

Nudity, profanity and gross topics will, of course, be welcomed in OT. I will try to allow the perfect thong to be used for everyone's sig pic. I mean, you can't see that picture too much.

My personal midget clown porn collection will be available to any and all who desire it. Transfer will be via P2P or FTP. And to those who supported me (you know who you are, even if you won't admit it), I am preparing a UPS routing slip so that you may have a turn with Dolly. Please wash her when you're done with her (except northcat who prefers her "au naturel"). Also, Dolly prefers to be folded like a flag. Please don't allow Indolikaa to "blue-dart" her into oozing, viscous oblivion like tha incident at the picnic with my 16" inflatable clown. I'm still trying to get over that loss. I have nothing to do on my morning commute now

We continue to hold out hope and eagerly await the return of teegee420. We now have Rob's marvelous politick forum so we needn't risk a warning here from discussing politics. The future looks bright

How many posts must one have to be considered a 'post-whore'. and what percentage of those must be in OT?

More important than post count, I think 30% or more in OT defines a true post whore. After all, a true post whore has to start with post #1. A good example of a true post whore is Gitreel. He almost immediately gravitated to the OT section and is a fixture there. And he has an impressive post count for the short time he's been here. Gitreel - you are a most apt pupil, grasshopper

That will depend on if the administration can function as a well-oiled machine. We will need to press our agenda with the board hierarchy (Baldrick). We may need to compromise on some of the points, like the sharing of the donations, but I think with a tenacious Treasurer like Will Hay, we might gain some real ground.

Excellent idea. That would reduce the time between when N***D G**K shows up with an alias, and when he actually gets banned again. If there were a constant OT lurker, such as myself, monitoring our beloved OT section, he wouldn't last long. This would keep him from distracting us from our intelligent debates (the "Courtesy Flush" thread comes to mind)

When it stops amusing him, look out Luckily Baldrick has a sense of humor and has been more tolerant of us than he had to be. Thanks. I'm trying to adjust here. Now that I'm a class official I must work for my constituents above all else. At the same time I have to walk a fine line between enthusiasm and promoting anarchy here. We all know where the real power is on this board.
