  1. Hi all,
I was wondering if someone had ever experienced my same problem.
Got some divx material, tried to convert it to a DVD using either the fast DVD preset or the DVD (hi or low bitrate), and ffmpegx 0.0.9m produces a perfect mpg (so the multiplex worked fine, my assumption), and an .img with the DVD.
Mounting the image and playing it through DVD Player (10.3.4 OS X, Dual 800MHz G4, 1GB RAM) the only result is the sound flowing with a still image. If I try to fast forward I see the movie goin on, but when I stop I get once again a still image and the normal movie soundtrack.
The same happens writing it to a DVD-RW.
I tried to flatten the DIVX (the codec I see is 3ivx 4.5.1 for most of them) using DIVX Doctor, but the result is the same.
    Any suggestion? Thanks in advance

  2. Have you tried to play it with VLC or Mplayer?

  3. Hi Major, tks for your reply
Yes, tried with VLC by opening the img file and it plays smoothly.
However there were lots of errors in the final authoring process. I'm trying to attach the output in rtf format, let's see if it works

  4. Hi Major,
I don't know what to do to fix is problem...
do you need the log from the authoring process for a sample movie? I couldn't attach it as a file and the output is pretty large, it timeout'd when I copy and pasted it here...
    thanks a lot in advance
