    How can I put 2 or more movies into one VTS?
    The reason why i'm tryin' to do that is because i allways experience some slight pause when the player is jumping from one VTS to the other...which can be annoying

    Thanx

    Cant you just drag the second onto the MOVIE timeline AFTER the first one.

    ballooox your right i just tried it , but guess what! not wanting to admit defeat i just had a go at this and it seems to work!!! i aint got a preview on my machine to check but everything looks fine in theory.

    Ok Dokey drag your first film onto timeline then your second as before then right mouse click in the Audio timeline, in the mini options that appear Select the "Create Sync Audio Track..." this opens a new window at first i thought WTF!! but its east peasy, in the window select your first film then click on the "Assign Audio File" button.. NOW forget what you have in your asset window just browse to the soundtrack for your first film wherever its saved on your hard drive. RIGHT!! Then select your second film do the same thing browse to your second films soundtrack.. OK your almost ready to go click in the "audio output file" give your new soundtrack a name i called mine Bollox.ac3 cos they were both ac3's anyway click on "Creat Audio File" and HEEY PRESTO your new audio track is in the timeline under both your VTs's/mpg files and also Maestro has kindly deposited your new audio track in the assets window anyway.

    3 cheers for Maestro and me lol hope you can follow the above.

    And now you'll experience a blip at the join mark

    Get an mpeg editor (Womble etc) and join the two clip with a smooth blending transition for a couple of frames (5-10), this will make it look and sound better at the join mark.

    @real2reel

    Thank you man! It worked like a charm. Have you tried this method with multi-lingual soundtracks. I also hope that the sound stays in sync when merging, let's say, 50+ music videos togethter.

    @disturbed1

    Any mpeg editor(incl. Womble) i tried by now produced some kind of faulty mpeg where MAESTRO would fail to recognize the part after the point of joining. TMPGenc Author & DVD Lab have no problem with it.

    If your video and audio isn't cut at scene changes, then at those join points, you'll either get a blip, or a couple of frames with no audio.
