What resolution to encode at? 352x240 or 352x288?

i had this problem when encoding (i did 288 like it said), but nero cleared it up for me. unfortunately the whole thing took like 4 hours to write since it had to re-encode it.
i was curious though, is there a big difference between quality in PAL VCD and NTSC VCD? also, if i re-encoded after it was already encoded, did i lost quality? -
Pal has more vertical resoultion, so technically is better quality. However NTSC has more frame rate so some will argue that that is better (PAL has 25, and as Films are 24 I think it's good enough
If you reencode the movie then yes, you will lose quality. -
Resolution over Framerate, 30fps for NTSC, 25 for PAL. If your NTSC then use 352x240, if your PAL then use 352x288.
