  1. vobedit is supposely joining, cutting, editing. how the hell do you do the "cutting" part?
i can join the 3 vob files i want w/o a problem, but i need to cut some of the 3 vob file off, and i have no ideia how to do it with vobedit.
if someone knows any other program that joins/cuts/edits and saves it as .vob (so i dont loose like, the audios and subtitles, and most importantely, so i dont loose any quality of the video)
    thanks, peace.

  3. As lordsmurf said, Vobedit is mostly used for demuxing but you can use it for joining and cutting, though it's not as straight forward as a normal editing tool and the smallest unit you can work with is a cell.

Depending on what you want to do, you can split your VOB files by Cell ID or VOB ID. You'll get bunch of smaller VOB files (each will be a Cell or many cells under a same VOB ID, respectively). Then you can rearrange them the way you want by renaming them as VTS_xx_yyy.VOB where xx is the VTS number and yyy starts from 001. Then you can join them. If it goes above 1G, Vobedit will start a new VOB file automatically.

Afterwards you'll need to use MenuEdit or VIDChanger to sort out the Cell and VOB IDs. Doing it manually with Vobedit will take you forever.
