  1. hello everyone....I'm new here....and I'd like to know if you have heard about a program to Capture the Streaming RealMedia videos to RM, so I can convert them to MPEG?? Please please help me ! thanks in advance.

  2. If you are talking about downloading streaming video (or audio) files from the net, StreamBox VCR is the tool. But after some copyright battles, i suppose, it's no longer available now. [Officially i mean. ] You'll need another tool to find out the hidden URL for the file first. The one i'm using is URL Snooper. Frankly, i don't know whether downloading streams that way is an infrigement of the copyright law. I don't see any mention of similar topics here so i don't feel comfy talking about it here.   3. I am trying to do the exact same thing! Except I paid for the clips and I just want to download them to MPEG and keep them. I'll check out this tool but if anyone else has any help to offer please email! Thanks!

    If you want to convert real media to MPEG try a program called EO Video to convert the RM to avi and then use TMPGEnc to convert to Mpeg. There is a how to use EO Video tutorial on this website.
