I have quite a few DivX files where the audio's volume is roughly 3.5 times quieter than it should be. Is there a way to increase the volume of the audio in DivX files and save that new level without affecting the video? Can VirtualDub do this?

    Hello,
I'm sure it can. I don't know that program well enough to help with that. However, one option could be to extract the sound and boost it with a wav editor. Than with the new sound file remix it with the video. I'm sure there's probably a better way but that's one option.

Thanks for the reply. I found this page that has detailed info on how to do it using VirtualDub and I was able to do it effortlessly.
