In "Environmental Settings", the Cache Setting is used for the VBR and is at 4GB as default. After ripping a movie, I don't have anywhere near 4 gigs. Does mean I need to lower the setting? If I do, do I lower it to the current space available on my HD or lower it to current HD space available minus the projected output file size?
Second question: how much space is needed for TMPG's temporary file? Do I need less, more, or about the same as output file size? I have two drives and one of the has about 900 megs free. I figure if I put the temp file over there, it frees up some space for output file in the other drive.
